Iona closes in on 1st place at the IGSSA Swimming Carnival

An exciting night of swimming was had by our IGSSA Swim team on Friday 10 March at HBF Stadium. Iona came in second place, only 32 points behind St Hilda's.

The Iona team also had two Pennant wins in the Year 7 and Year 10 age groups and the Year 11 and 12 students came in second place.

Tessa Chapman, Olivia Gleeson, Sarah Overheu and Jemima Horwood set an IGSSA record in the Year 10, 4 x 50m Freestyle relay team.

Congratulations to all girls who participated and cheered on their fellow team mates. The Iona team did us all very proud.
