Fashion designer provides inspiration for our Year 12 textiles students

"Follow your dreams and passions …"

These were the words of Perth Fashion Designer, Jessica Jones, when she joined our Year 12 textiles students to inspire them for their up-and-coming design work.

Jessica is a fashion designer, artist and dreamer. She spoke to the girls about her studies, inspirations, client work and her experiences in the fashion world, including showing her label (Tempest & Eve) at the Telstra Perth Fashion Festival.

Jessica creates romantic clothing, inspired by historical fashion, literature and art. She believes, "beautiful things should not be only saved for special occasions, they should be used and enjoyed every day."

Our Year 12 textiles students are currently finding inspiration via the process of researching and designing their final garments.
